Who are you?
Good question! My full name is Patricia Marie Woods. I’m a small town Canadian living in a quiet coastal town by New Brunswick. In the past, I was employed as a librarian and a substitute teacher. Now, I’ve decided to pursue writing full-time.
What’s your background?
I have a teaching degree that is no longer in use, and I also completed a two-year library science program. I’m very familiar with books, authors, and writing in general. Ask me a trivia question about literature, I’ll probably ace it!

A fun fact about me is that I was actually homeschooled all the way until high school. Whenever I meet anyone new, it always seems to amaze them to discover this part about my childhood. Growing up, I guess I had a pretty unique experience from other kids, but I turned out just fine as a fully functional adult…I think!
Why did you start this blog?
I love to write, and working on this blog is the best writing exercise out there. It’s the perfect platform where I can polish my writing skills, test my creativity, and engage with other writers online.
What do you write about?
Honestly, I write about any topic that comes across my mind. I’m more inclined to write academic pieces just because it’s my forte, but like most writers I don’t want to box myself into any specific niche. No matter what I write about, I promise to do my diligent research and convey the information in a clear, concise manner.
